Lemon Ginger Curry Chicken Skewers #stashtearecipechallenge

Think fast: you are having a party, and you want to serve something intriguing and exotic, but not too over the top… you still want to spend time with your guests…. I really you’d like something that can be made in advance, with short preparation time to serve.

I’ve got a solution for you.

Grilled marinated chicken skewers with a creamy lemon ginger curry sauce.


Tender chicken breasts soaked in a soy/lemon ginger garlic marinade and grilled to perfection.

With a creamy lemon ginger curry sauce that is amazing… my kids have now requested it for their french fries (!!!!!)

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless chicken breasts, cubed int 2" size
  • 1 cup Stash Lemon Ginger Tea, brewed and separated in 1/2 cup portions
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric powder
  • 1 tsp EACH salt/ pepper

Instructions

  • Combine the 1/2 cup tea, soy sauce and minced garlic . 
    Pour over raw chicken and allow to marinate at least 4 hours
    Skewer chicken and grill until done
    Meanwhile, mix the remaining 1/2 cup of tea, sour cream and spices in a bowl. Allow flavors to meld at least 1 hour.
     Serve alongside grilled chicken.
