Chai Chia breakfast pudding #stashtearecipechallenge

This is recipe #2 I created for the #stashrecipechallenge. I decided to have a little word play and create a Chai and Chia putting… it’s the perfect healthy and hearty start to your day: Filled with chai spices, raw honey, vanilla yogurt, and just the right sprinkling of cinnamon .
I started with a strong brew Stash chai tea , added a few tablespoons of Chia seeds. Next, allow them to set about 10 minutes and then give it a good stir swirl and some vanilla yogurt and honey and it’s ready to eat in 10 minutes! Or, it will wait patiently for you in the fridge overnight and breakfast is ready when you are.
I could barely get pictures of this because my girls were at my feet and wanting to try it. As soon as I brewed the tea, my oldest started asking: “What was that delicious smell?” And, my middle child began to befall upon my photoshoot. (Hence above image)

Chai chia breakfast pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup strong brewed Stash chai tea
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 2-3 tbsp raw honey

Instructions

  • Brew tea and allow to cool to room temp.
    Stir in the chia seeds and wait 10-15 minutes. 
    Stir (mixture will begin to thicken
    Stir in yogurt and honey
    Allow to set 5-10 minutes or overnight. 
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
