I didn’t name this… I had it YEARS ago in North Carolina. I am sure there are other names for it….maybe it should be called Mojito’s little sister? You will see why…now:

It’s Friday…time to kick back, and sit on the front porch and watch the world go by with one of these.

What is it? Lemonade, mint and vodka. Oh yes, and ice-it’s summertime, you’ll need that.

All you have to do is put some ice in a nice, tall glass and “beat up” the mint leaves a bit to release their flavor, top with more ice and 8oz lemonade (try for a refrigerated all natural brand) and 1 shot of vodka. Garnish with more mint and a lemon slice.  You can also add a splash of club soda if you prefer a fizz. Sometimes it’s nice to be fizzy.

Wow. Is this my shortest post ever? Oh dear….

Well, I have that easy comfort food for y’all. That will be longer. And another summer/tropical treat. Oh yes, baby!

I got busy yesterday.  That’s what mamas do. Now my back hurts. I need one of those gel mats for the kitchen…. Santa? Are you reading this? HINT,HINT! :)

I hope y’all try this drink. Kick back. Enjoy life . It’s good.
