jalapeno pinwheels~ because jalapenos rock
I got this recipe from my cyber-friend Jenna, who started out as a reader here- then we became real-cyber friends. As in, we email. And, we’re friends on facebook. So she can see all the crappy pictures people take of me and decide to post and tag yes, she can even see the horrible pics of me with my eyes half closed and looking like I’m comatose- ( although I’m not) – you know… when you catch a bad picture of someone- seriously people!- just because someone else looks good in the pic- it’s not a good pic unless EVERYONE in it looks good.
Take a clue.
Okay, vent over. I don’t think the pic thing even matters with the new timeline anyway… and, I may sound kind of vain- but honestly… who likes those bad pictures of themselves?
So, my new friend gave me this recipe. And, it’s yummy.
But, before I begin- let’s chat.If you know me- you’ll remember I got a new sewing machine. I’m attempting to teach myself quilting. So, by the time I’m 67 I may have it mastered, then I can make really cool quilts to raffle off for church picnics.
I’ll be chronicling my adventures on my other site, The Domestic Mama. I have issues with the two names here, sometimes. For the record, I have one personality, but two sites.
Actually, I own about 12 domain names.
They’re addicting. Too bad building websites and blogs takes so much time. I’d have a ton of cool ones. For now, however- I need to focus on one, maybe two, and try to achieve cool-nees with those for now.
Back to food:
Take a tube of crescent rolls. Have your hubby open them if you’re scared of being startled- (like me) I’m not a fan of jack-in-the-boxes or popping-dough-in-a-can. Just sayin’
you read right, seal all the crafts.
spread it with jalapenos, cream cheese and a tad bit of sugar.
Roll up and slice at 2″ intervals, bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.
Nom,nom,nom!

I love jalapeno poppers but they are hard to eat. I think this pinwheel ideas is brilliant. All of the same goodness of jalapeno poppers but wrapped in Crescent rolls. YUM!
Those pop-open cans scare me as well! These look like a yummy and easy appetizer. Will have to try!
Simple, quick, and delicious!
We had something very similar at our cottage group Bible Study a couple of weeks ago. Very good.
