I haven’t hosted a giveaway yet on this new site.
Today, I am. Why?
because I said so. ( oops, you’re not my kids!)
na, because I love y’all- now, I STILL am not big (or rich) enough to give away Kitchen Aid mixers (one day….) BUT- I can give away little things….so here are the two boxes I made up:
1) A mini brownie pan with a mini brownie cookbook and spatula- no it’s not easy-bake oven mini, it makes 6 good size brownies. Along with a bottle of Lalechera sauce (think sweet cream to put on your brownies mmm) …..and a genuine “food jewel” of your choice custom made by me! (let me know what you’d like to have)
2) Box number two has a bag of gormet coffee, cookies, and a windchime handmade by me! ( who doesn’t LOVE windchimes?!)

I’ll bow out since I won a most fantastic prize package from you last time (hopefully you’ve received my thank you letter by now!) Really no special plans. We usually just to Thanksgiving for just the 4 of us. Sometimes we have guests but we are not fans of driving in that crazy holiday traffic. It’s my turn to work Christmas but I am only working a 6 hour shift beginning at 1pm so we can have family time in the morning. I like to keep holidays simple.
Oh and I’m LOLing at the tweets: “my dilemma today is keeping our tortoise out of the house-he knows how to open the sliding door now…” OH MY! That’s hilarious! And “goo in the dark?” You had me going there! LOL!
No definite plans for us as of yet. We always have Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws though. And as for Christmas this year instead of giving gifts we are pooling our money and sponsoring a child who is less fortunate than we are. As for the box I’d love to have the brownie box, but what is a food jewel?
Oh wow Jennelle- that is awesome! A food jewel are the little pendants I make that are on the “shop” here- I can do (almost) any food on a scrabble tile or in resin.

We have no special plans for the upcoming holiday this year. (Last year we were on a cruise and I wish w/ my heart of hearts that it could happen again, but alas it was not to be!) I will be working for most of it. It’s the pitts but I’m thankful to have the job! Anyway, I’d love box #2. You’re right – who doesn’t love a nice windchime?

Not sure what is going on this holiday season…one of those things that I figure out a few days before, LOL!! But there will be baking on my part!!
I would love box #1…cookbooks are my weakness!!
I am looking forward to pulling out some of my favorite holiday cookie recipes that I haven’t made in a while…and baking (and eating) lots and lots of them! Also we will be getting ready for baby Lex to arrive…yay for the holidays! Box #2 sounds nice…would love to see the windchime you made!
Aww! I think you are awesome! We have no plans this year (again.) It will be just the four of us at home, unless we win the lottery. If the lottery comes out way, we are going some place very warm and very beachy. With lots of alcohol and babysitters.
The holidays will be very different this year. My husband decided that he didn’t want to be a husband or full time father soooo, the kids and I will be flying solo for the first time! I am excited and scared at this new prospect but the brownie box sound slike it would be a hit in our house! I hope we win.
