I have a habit of playing with boxed hot roll mix…you know the one with the cute mascot? Sure, I could just whip up some from scratch sweet dough…but, sometimes I just don’t feel like measuring. Makes more dishes, you know? And.. if you forgot I had a ton of dishes to do last week….I have dishpan hands.
Need to get that Palmolive.
And some lotion.
Heck… I outta just get a dishwasher, but then I’d lose cabinet space. And, I need all the cabinet space I can get.
So, I wanted to whip up a nice little breakfast treat for my girls and hubby to start their day and came up with this-using a bag of frozen blueberries and some cooking cream cheese. Yay… no trip to the store!
I wish you could smell these. Man, blueberries smell so good.
So, this is really easy.. thaw out and drain a bag of frozen blueberries, and toss them with 2 tbs flour, 1 tbs sugar and 3 tbs cooking cream, Or you can use softened cream cheese…
Spread it on your dough…
Ready? I love the “after” picture…
there’s a double after picture today….frosting:
mmmm. You can make these- even if you’re “not a baker” they are practically foolproof. Really, I promise.

From the Pacific Northwest….don’t know what a “hot roll mix” is “the cute mascot” isn’t enough of a clue. Can you name the product/tell me where to buy it?
Hi Ellen, It’s Pillsbury hot roll mix, our local grocer carries it, any hot roll mix should do- or any bread mix w/yeast should suffice, also!
